1/ When is Lunar New Year 2020 in Vietnam?

Lunar New Year holiday 2020 (Tet holiday) will last from Jan/23/2020 to Jan/29/2020 – total 7 days. In these 7 days, most offices are closed, and the staff are allowed to take day off. Workers, students, pupils, teachers, doctors, etc. are non-working. A number of offices do not work, included the Immigration Department.

2/ How to get Vietnam Visa during Lunar New Year 2020?

Please note that even the Immigration Department is not working on these days, the Immigration counter in the airport still works. Therefore, you can get a visa stamp as normal if you have the visa approval letter.

We can guarantee for you to enter Vietnam during this period but it will cost 200 USD/person for the special service charge. The visa will be valid in 15 days with single entry.
