1/ When is Lunar New Year 2019 in Vietnam?

Lunar New Year holiday 2019 (Tet holiday) will last from Feb/01/2019 to Feb/10/2019 – total 10 days. In these 10 days, most offices are closed, and the staff are allowed to take day off. Workers, students, pupils, teachers, doctors, etc. are non-working. A number of offices do not work, included the Immigration Department.

2/ How to get Vietnam Visa during Lunar New Year 2019?

Please note that even the Immigration Department is not working on these days, the Immigration counter in the airport still works. Therefore, you can get a visa stamp as normal if you have the visa approval letter.

We can guarantee for you to enter Vietnam during this period but it will cost 220 USD/person for the special service charge. The visa will be valid in 15 days with single entry.
